For more than 10 years in the profession, I have 99.9% grateful and happy reviews. For me, shooting is primarily about people who are either in the frame or behind the scenes. I shoot for people. In my understanding, the shooting process is directly related to psychology and sometimes even psychotherapy. I feel people’s emotions during photo and video shooting and either carefully manage the process/direct, or I step back/dissolve. It all depends on the situation.
International projects allow me to capture interesting successful people in the frame, touch their fate, and preserve the energy of the moment in the photo. Dubai or Doha, Bodrum or Istanbul, Yerevan or Tbilisi, Persian Gulf or Desert, Ballroom or openair. There is no difference where the shooting takes place. The main thing is that there is an event, emotions, and happiness. The most pleasant feedback after the shooting that fills me is the phrase: “Maks, after reviewing the photos, we relived the emotions of that day and it’s incredibly cool!”
I like the southern directions, the East and the Caucasus. One of the most memorable shootings was in the desert in 50 degree heat. Me, the vice Miss Universe, and a team of Malaysian designers were shooting a new collection of dresses after the fashion show at Dubai Fashion Week. Sand on which you can safely fry fried eggs, camel camps and real desert bedouins. It really leaves impressions for a lifetime
